He assists Texas residents with issues involving advance directives, conservatorship proceedings, guardianships, incapacity plans, powers of attorney, trusts, and wills. In 2018 Mr. Carroll was named “10 Best Estate Planning Attorney-Texas” by the AILC.
Employment History
Blair Carroll has made a career of defending Texans accused of crimes. Years before he formed Carroll Troberman Criminal Defense with Meredith “Shelly” Troberman, Blair began his legal career defending people accused of DWI in the Dallas area. Blair worked under nationally recognized DWI attorney Mimi Coffey, managing the Dallas office and a caseload dedicated exclusively to defending those accused of DWI.
In 2007, Blair moved to Austin and joined The Kyle Law Firm to defend criminal cases in courts throughout the I-35 corridor. Since moving to Austin, Blair has successfully defended hundreds of clients charged with crimes ranging from possession of marijuana to murder.
Personal Life & Educational Background
A father, and lifelong resident of Texas, Blair earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. Blair has been named a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and is a member of numerous other federal, state, and local bar associations.
